About Dr. Mackenzie Beckwith

Dr. Mackenzie’s journey into chiropractic began with a personal realization that there had to be a better way to approach health.

After serving in the military and growing up relatively allopathically, she experienced firsthand a system where medications were often the primary solution for many health concerns. While that approach has its place, she couldn’t shake the feeling that the body was designed for more than simply managing symptoms.

After being involved in two significant car accidents, Dr. Mackenzie sought care from a chiropractor for the first time. The results were life-changing. For the first time in a long time, she experienced what it felt like for her body to truly function the way it was meant to.

In that moment something clicked.

She realized how many people were living with pain, dysfunction, and limitations simply because they had never been shown another way. If something this powerful could change her life, she felt compelled to share it with others.

That realization led her to chiropractic school, where she discovered upper cervical care. The approach immediately made sense. If the nervous system controls every function of the body, then restoring proper alignment at the top of the spine—the atlas, which sits directly beneath the brainstem—can have profound effects on the entire body.

Dr. Mackenzie practices upper cervical care utilizing the Atlas Orthogonal technique, a highly precise and gentle technique designed to correct misalignment of the atlas vertebra without twisting, cracking, or popping the neck. By restoring proper alignment at this critical point of the spine, pressure and interference on the nervous system can be reduced, allowing the body to communicate and function the way it was designed to.

Patients often experience improvements not only in pain and posture, but also in nervous system function, balance, sleep, and overall well-being.

Dr. Mackenzie believes the human body was intelligently designed, and that true health begins when interference is removed and the body is allowed to do what it was created to do.

Her goal is simple: to help people regain their health, reclaim their lives, and experience the freedom that comes from a properly functioning nervous system.
